Applications are being accepted for Leadership Baltimore County’s (LBC’s) next class, which runs from September 2023 to June 2024.
Now in its 40th year, Leadership Baltimore County brings high achievers with diverse perspectives together to heighten their civic awareness, enhance their organizational effectiveness and become a driving force for positive change in their workplace, community, Baltimore County and the region.
LBC is based on the three guiding principles of exposure, exploration and engagement. Awareness and knowledge are key elements and motivators of leadership, and once aware, true leaders engage in working toward creating solutions.
Participants learn about their own leadership capacity by engaging in a 360-degree assessment, followed by two executive coaching sessions. At the monthly leadership retreats, participants take a deep dive into topics such as economic development, social services, health care, education, government affairs and public safety.
Leadership Baltimore County has more than 1,300 graduates from notable local and nationally recognized organizations. All applicants must attend a one-hour virtual information session, scheduled for May 22 from 8 a.m. to noon.
