What is your most significant accomplishment?

Joyce Smithey’s most significant professional accomplishment is opening her own firm in 2018 and growing it to where it is today. After leaving a large firm where she had worked for 12 years and made equity partner, Smithey chose to start her own because she truly believes in making a difference in people’s lives, no matter their background, and that every employee has rights.

Over the past five years, Smithey Law Group has grown to nine attorneys and four non-attorney staff. In just a few short years, Smithey Law Group has carved out a strong position in the legal marketplace.
