What is your most significant accomplishment?
Most significantly, I have spent my career as a labor & employment attorney advising clients on how to create environments where their employees can be productive and thrive. As a member of Johns Hopkins University’s Office of Institutional Equity team, I’ve been able to apply that experience to investigating sensitive employment and sexual misconduct matters with trauma-informed sensitivity and professionalism.
Most significantly, I have designed many effective training experiences for various university audiences on the prevention of all forms of discrimination, harassment and sexual misconduct.
These have been instrumental in offering a safe and productive space to discuss these complex and nuanced matters and improving work/academic environments. I have found that these have been the most rewarding and effective conversations because they assist all members of the JHU community — including students, faculty, and staff — become more aware of their own behaviors and empowered to seek assistance when necessary.
