Business Development Director
Redstart Creative

What product or service do you and your company provide?

Redstart Creative provides branding and digital marketing to nonprofits and small businesses who are enacting positive change in the world. Our diverse team of creatives bring a wealth of professional experience and a personal investment in creating clear communications for organizations working to make the world a better place to live. Our clients are leaders in driving social impact and equity in education, the environment and human services in their communities.

Professionally, what do you consider your most significant accomplishment to be?

When I founded Redstart in 2009, I was following my instinct to create an agency that was different. I wanted to meet clients where they were — find out how to make their goals, budget and timeframe work. Being able to look back at running a company for 13 years, growing it and successfully selling it is a huge accomplishment. One I could not have done without the support of so many amazing women along the way — mentors, coaches and professional service support partners.

What award are you most proud of achieving over the years?

I am most proud of achieving the Top 100 Women award in 2015. I have tremendous respect for all the Daily Record awards because they are awarded on merit and go through such an intense screening process. In 2015, I had only been running my business for six years. It helped me realize that my instinct to work hard, support other young women and volunteer held value to others as well. It helped to propel me forward to grow even more.
