What is your most significant accomplishment?

I consider my work with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), as a contractor on the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Modernization Project to be my most significant and rewarding accomplishment. During

my tenure, I held two positions: Release Manager and Sr. Manager, Infrastructure Engineering Project

Management Team. Under my leadership, my team and I:

• Modernized (upgrade, rebuilt and/or reengineered) all software systems used to manage and track
• taxpayer data and modernized all physical and virtual infrastructure including failover sites, creating
• the “Where’s My Refund” button on the main page of the IRS website for taxpayers to track their
• refund status.
• Managed multi-billion-dollar projects across multiple platforms and contracts.
• Developed processes, methods and systems working with multiple matrixed teams to upgrade and rebuild all of the IRS’s infrastructure at every site and streamlined the IRS’ project development lifecycle,
• developed a spend plan template and model that resulted in millions of dollars in costs savings which
• also increase business capture opportunities for CSC.
• Transformed the IRS’ Fraud Detection System. After a failed attempt by a sub-contractor, I was asked
• by the President of CSC to lead the modernization and implementation effort to ensure a taxpayer
• fraud detection system was in place.
• Built an award-winning team that won multiple team and individual awards each year for our leadership, innovation, business capture and project success rate.
• Collaborated with an IRS to establish the Washington, D.C. IRS Chapter of the Project Management
• Institute. This is a major accomplishment because as part of our charter, we instituted that all continuing education units would be free to all attendees.
