Cindy Ariosa serves as senior vice president and regional manager for Long & Foster Real Estate. Cindy has been in real estate for more than 27 years and is humbled when she steps back to think about the people she has helped own their own home.
Ariosa received her bachelor’s degree from Towson University in 1983, which granted her the opportunity to receive many honors and hold numerous leadership roles throughout her career. Some of her accomplishments include Realtor of the Year 2004 and being named to the Swanepoel Power 200 in 2015. Not only has she been honored as an Influential Marylander this year, but she has been honored as an influential individual in the real estate industry.
With over 3 million home sales and management of 35 Long and Foster’s offices, Ariosa takes time to mentor real estate agents – about 300 a year – which provides them with the ability to be their own boss.
She is also the Chairman of the Board of the largest Multiple Listing Service in the Country with more than 100,000 members. She ensures that everyone is given equal access to properties that are available for sale. It also helps ensure an orderly marketplace where no one will be discriminated against because they don’t have access to properties for sale.
In addition to cheering on her children, who are both collegiate athletes, she enjoys playing golf and spending time on the beach.
