T. Rowe Price Chief Operating Officer Kimberly H. Johnson has brought a wealth of experience in asset management to her role with the global investor relations giant.
With her bachelor’s degree in economics from Princeton University and her master’s degree in business administration from Columbia University, Johnson leads global investment operations, global client account services, enterprise change, real estate and workplace services, enterprise risk and the regional operating teams, according to the company website.
“Operations and technology are essential to enabling our strategic priorities. I am confident that with her deep experience and strategic vision, Kimberly will quickly become an integral part of our leadership team”, T. Rowe Price President and CEO Rob Sharps said at the time of Johnson’s hiring in 2022.
Johnson previously held the same role for Fannie Mae, where she also served as executive vice president, chief risk officer, and as a member of its management committee.
During her time at Fannie Mae, Johnson led its digital transformation, establishing a four-year enterprise modernization plan and an operational roadmap for redesigning business processes and reengineering core technology.
She was elected to the Eli Lilly and Company board of directors in 2021 and serves on the boards of several other nonprofits.
Johnson is also proud of her work as chairman of the board for Communities in Schools of the Nation’s Capital in 2008.
