What does it mean to you to be a women-owned business?

Being a woman-owned business means leading with purpose, resilience and integrity. I take great pride in building a company that not only delivers exceptional work, but also creates a positive, inclusive space for employees, clients and community partners. It’s about representation, showing other women and girls that leadership in business, especially in traditionally male-dominated industries like print and production, is not only possible but powerful.

What challenges have you faced as a women-owned business?

Like many women entrepreneurs, I’ve faced challenges around being underestimated or overlooked, particularly early in my leadership journey. In the printing industry, I’ve had to prove myself in rooms where I was the only woman at the table — and sometimes the youngest, too. But with each hurdle, I’ve become more determined to lead authentically and to build a resilient company culture and to invest in people who believe in the same vision I do: one where quality, community and equity go hand in hand.

How do you support women in your business and community?

Alpha Graphics has always prioritized hiring women, promoting women and mentoring women. I also create opportunities for growth within my company. I partner with woman-owned or -led businesses and prioritize vendors, contractors and freelancers who are woman-owned. I have also spoken at community events or on panels to share my story and to inspire others. We have continually used this platform to highlight women creatives, especially local or emerging talent.

What recent accomplishments are you most proud of?

The strategic acquisition of Redstart Creative in 2023. and expanding Alpha Graphics into a full-service creative agency offering print, branding, messaging and digital marketing, all while maintaining exceptional service across both brands. Leading branding and website projects for mission-driven organizations, helping them expand their visibility and improve how they serve their community but also building and managing a majority-woman team across both companies and providing career growth opportunities
