Beverage company strikes distribution partnership in Maryland
Hinny Hard Seltzer, a beverage business based in Clyde, N.Y., announced its expansion into the Maryland market through a new distribution partnership with Backup Beverage, a craft beverage distributor based in Frederick.
The company said the partnership marks another milestone as the brand aims to expand its hard seltzers to new consumers along the East Coast.
According to a release, the distribution partnership with Backup Beverage will introduce Hinny Hard Seltzer to retailers, bars and eateries throughout the state in an effort to give consumers more access to the brand’s assortment of “distinct” flavors.
“Expanding into Maryland is an exciting next step for Hinny,” Hinny Hard Seltzer founder Tim Nickels said.
“As a veteran-owned company, we’ve built this brand with intention, focused on craftsmanship, consistency and community. Partnering with Backup Beverage allows us to reach a new audience while staying true to the standards and values that define Hinny.”
According to a release, Maryland consumers can anticipate roll outs of Hinny products at select locations this year.
Founded in 2015, Backup Beverage serves clients across the state.
“We are very excited to introduce the state of Maryland to Hinny Hard Seltzer,” Backup Beverage founder and president Chris Turner said. “Their wonderful flavor profiles, sharp packaging, and competitive prices will be available across the state wherever hard seltzers are sold.”
