Loyola accepts 11 ventures for Baltipreneurs Accelerator

Loyola accepts 11 ventures for Baltipreneurs Accelerator

‘s Simon Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship has accepted 11 new business ventures for the center’s 2025-26 Baltipreneurs program, the school announced. 

The four-month part-time program provides training, technical assistance, mentorship, networking and access to capital to support businesses and social ventures, according to a release.

The newest cohort of Baltipreneurs cover a range of industries, including technology, insurance, community development, food and beverage, and more. The group of 11 includes Loyola students, entrepreneurs from other universities, and business owners in the area.

The Baltipreneurs Accelerator will provide a total of $47,000 to the participants, a release says. They will attend 10 sessions from December 2025 through March 2026, culminating in a Demo Day showcase scheduled for March 19.

“We are thrilled to get to know the latest accomplished cohort of Baltipreneurs and to make sure Baltimore knows and supports them too,” said Wendy Bolger, founding director of the Simon Center. 

“We are strong in food and beverage businesses this year as well as in AI-informed solutions from elder care to biotech data, in innovative consulting models, and with ventures that support youth and families. It’s a great mix and a testament to the creativity and relevance of our local entrepreneurial community.”

According to Loyola, the 2025-26 Baltipreneurs – with their respective specialties – are as follows:

  • ACC Industries, modular electric vehicle battery recycling
  • BioBuild, AI-powered bioinformatics platform
  • Cajou Creamery, plant-based, culturally inspired ice cream
  • Coach G Academy, holistic youth development through step dancing
  • Dr. Heather Lamb Consulting, workplace well-being and culture strategy
  • Kinnected Care, AI-powered eldercare coordination platform
  • Our House Baltimore, community hub for families and caregivers
  • Rhodex, automated insurance for a smarter future
  • Rooted Rotisserie, fire-roasted diasporic cuisine
  • Smooth Contracting LLC, federal contracting accelerator for small businesses
  • Wight Tea Co., modern, flavor-focused tea blends

Mentors, instructors, coaches and consultants will deliver guidance tailored for each accelerator participant over the course of the program.
