The launched a new website design that aims to enhance functionality with easier navigation for users, the office announced Tuesday. The new-and-improved website can be found at www.psc.state.md.us

With the mission of ensuring “safe, reliable and economic public utility and transportation service” to Marylanders, PSC officials said the new site also reflects the agency’s transparency.

The redesigned site enables users to more easily locate filings, reports, data and additional resources. The site’s home page features a case search function, links to filing portals, a calendar of events and more guidance.

“Our goal is for visitors to our website to easily find what they’re looking for – this allows users to be more efficient in their search for information and resources as well as gain a better understanding of Commission activities and decisions and helps to streamline business processes for regulated entities,” Commission Chair Kumar P. Barve said.

“Our website serves as an important starting point to access what we do here, including our oversight of the safe, efficient and economic delivery of utility services to the citizens of Maryland.”

According to a release, the site was designed to meet the following goals:

  • Compliant with accessibility best practices while enabling easy navigation
  • Optimized for mobile devices and easy access while on the go
  • Fast and secure, with optimizations for search engines and AI tools
  • Feature clear navigation and content to help users achieve their goals.

Digital Ink, a website design, graphic design and digital marketing team based in Silver Spring, provided web design services for the site.
