Primrose school location opens in Harford County
Primrose Schools®, a national franchise company providing early education and care to children and families, announced the recent opening of its new location in Harford County.
Officially opening its doors Feb. 16, Primrose School of Forest Hill is the second Primrose school in Harford County and sixth in the Baltimore metro area, according to a release. School leaders plan to address what they call a “growing demand for exceptional early learning options” in the surrounding campus community.
Founded in 1982, there are more than 550 Primrose schools in 36 states and Washington, D.C. The system’s other school is located in Bel Air.
“Opening Primrose School of Forest Hill is deeply personal to us. It’s the realization of a journey that began when we were parents looking for the very best start for our own child,” Primrose School of Forest Hill franchise owner Seena Parikh said.
“Watching our son grow into a confident, curious and compassionate learner through the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum inspired us to bring that same exceptional experience to the Harford County community we proudly call home.”
Located at 1657 B Robin Circle in Forest Hill, the new Primrose School features:
- A curriculum blending purposeful play, STEM learning, design thinking, citizenship and character development
- Capacity for up to 180 children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old
- A 13,545-square-foot facility with 13 classrooms and three age-specific playgrounds
Vivek Parikh is the school’s other franchise owner. The school opening is expected to create roughly 30 full- and part-time jobs, according to a release.
