The recently leased office space in Baltimore’s central business district to accommodate three state agencies, announced investment management company .

The Toronto-based company facilitated a 69,408-square-foot office lease at 36 S. Charles Street with the state, according to a release, marking “a significant achievement for the building.”

The space will house the State of Maryland Supplemental Retirement Program, Office of the People’s Counsel, and Public Service Commission, according to Colliers.

These agencies will join other State of Maryland tenants with downtown offices: Office of Public Defender, Department of Aging and Department of Disabilities.

“We are thrilled to have worked with Zamir Equities to welcome these three state agencies to the building and help stabilize a property in such a competitive market,” Colliers executive Katie Datin said.

“Recognizing the caliber of this opportunity, we knew we needed to craft a data‑driven, customized strategy that clearly demonstrated the property’s unmatched alignment with the State’s priorities, positioning it as the winning solution.”

The property offers several amenities, including an on-site fitness center, conference center, tenant lounge and 24/7 security.

Colliers officials said the company took a combined approach – including a thorough financial analysis and conveying the 25-story building’s quality and value to state departments – to secure the lease agreement with the State of Maryland.
