The honorees were acknowledged at an event Wednesday afternoon at the Laurel Park race track’s Maryland Jockey Club.

Women hold at least 30% of each Honor Roll awardee’s executive leadership and 30% of each organization’s board of director seats.

At the event, representatives from Honor Roll recipients joined a panel discussion on women’s career and board journeys.

Of the five colleges recognized, Morgan State University was the only historically Black college and university in the state to earn Executive Alliance honor.

“At Morgan, we understand that when women are empowered to lead critical operational areas, the institution benefits from broader perspectives, keen decision-making and more inclusive outcomes,” MSU President David K. Wilson said in a statement.

“This is not simply about equity; it is about excellence, it is about positioning our University to thrive in an increasingly complex and competitive higher education landscape.”
