Cereta A. Lee has served as the elected Register of Wills for Prince George’s County since 2006, earning the distinction of being the first African American to hold that office. She has since been elected to five consecutive terms.
In that role, Lee has led the office in administering estates in a legally timely manner, maintaining compliance standards and providing compassionate guidance to residents during difficult times.
A proud member of the National Council of Negro Women, Lee mentors young women in building self-esteem and preparing for future success.
