Kamilah Mantle, CEO of EPICC Technologies, has built a globally utilized digital health platform by translating her clinical background in rehabilitation therapy into scalable technology solutions for older adults and individuals with neurological conditions. The platform is now used by older adults, caregivers and health care providers across health care systems worldwide.
She was appointed to serve a three-year term as a commissioner on the Montgomery County Commission on Aging, contributing to countywide initiatives impacting older adults. Mantle was also selected for the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Leadership Development Program Healthcare Cohort, a nationally competitive program that recognizes emerging leaders driving innovation and systems-level change in health care.
Navigating entrepreneurship as a woman in health care and technology, Mantle has drawn on resilience, vision and discipline to build a company that aligns clinical expertise, entrepreneurship and community service. She counts successfully launching a product now used globally among her proudest achievements.
Mantle mentors high school students interested in health care careers, as well as graduate students and early-career professionals in rehabilitative fields. Her mentoring emphasizes clinical practice, leadership and business development, with a focus on encouraging early-career professionals to serve the aging population and to view innovation and entrepreneurship as pathways for improving health care delivery.
