Stephanie Baron has spent her entire legal career at Miles & Stockbridge. A principal since 2012, Baron’s partners chose to elevate her to co-leader of the firm’s Labor, Employment, Benefits and Immigration Group three years ago— a recognition she found immensely meaningful, reflecting the confidence and respect her partners placed in her.
In that leadership capacity, she helps establish priorities for the group, manages its budget and works with colleagues across the firm as a member of firm leadership.
Among the most rewarding aspects of her role is the continued opportunity to mentor associates and see them develop into confident advocates and leaders. Baron was also asked to serve as a Career Development mentor for two female counsel at the firm through a relatively new program designed to provide more senior lawyers with guidance and support as they navigate the firm and their careers.
In that capacity, she provides strategic guidance on workload management, career progression and firm leadership, while working to increase her mentees’ visibility through networking opportunities both within Miles & Stockbridge and beyond. Baron looks forward to learning from both women while helping them advance their careers.
