Dunkin’ opens new Rockville location

Dunkin’, one of the nation’s largest coffee and donuts brands, officially opened its newest Maryland location on June 10 in Rockville, the company announced.

Located at 4011 Norbeck Road, the Montgomery County store features the brand’s customary freshly brewed hot and iced coffee, espresso, cold brew, refreshers and a lineup of donuts, bagels, muffins and breakfast sandwiches. The location marks Maryland’s 324th site and Rockville’s eighth.

Dunkin’ franchisee Jesse Luis of the Luis Group owns and operates the new restaurant. 

The 2,200-square-foot restaurant will employ roughly eight crew members and will be open Monday to Saturday from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., a company release says. 

“We’re proud to bring Dunkin’ to Rockville and look forward to becoming part of the daily routine for residents,” Luis said in a statement. 

“We’re excited to serve the Rockville community by delivering fast, friendly service, consistent quality, and, of course, great coffee every day.”

The new Rockville Dunkin’, classified as a “Next Generation restaurant,” will also include the following features:

• Premium Pours: Dunkin’s signature cold beverages are poured through a tap system, serving cold sips such as iced coffee, iced tea, Cold Brew and Nitro-Infused Cold Brew.
• Dunkin’ on Demand: An area dedicated to mobile pickups, facilitating faster transactions for members of the Dunkin’ Rewards program.
• A modern design: “The openness, colors, and materials used in the design help create an approachable, positive, and energetic environment,” the company said.

Official grand opening details for the new Rockville Dunkin’ will be announced in the coming weeks, according to a release. 

Founded in 1950, Dunkin’ is headquartered in Massachusetts and operates more than 14,200 restaurants in nearly 40 global markets.
