The Harbor Point Office is the third location for Dr. Amanda Gallagher. It’s located on the ground floor of a mixed-use, waterfront building located between Fells Point and Harbor East.

The office has a variety of unique design elements. From loft glass, Venetian plaster and gold leaf diagonals, neon signs and modern furniture, the office has the appearance of a high-end spa or lounge more than a typical orthodontist’s office.

Dr. Gallagher designed the office along with Ana Martelo, and it was built by regional dental office construction firm INPE Inc. The office features many items that were purchased from its Harbor Point neighbor West Elm. It plays into the larger Harbor Point theme of prioritizing local and regional retail and restaurants, including AG Ortho which also has offices in Perry Hall and Abingdon.

The office opened in July 2020 and did a lot to help other dental offices during the COVID-19 pandemic. AG Ortho was able to source and donate PPE to the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where Dr. Gallagher completed her residency. It also helped find PPE equipment for dental offices around the Baltimore region that helped them reopen safely.

Dr. Gallagher runs the business along with her husband, Ben Whetzel, who is the business manager. They have a team of 40 employees at their various locations.
