Vice President of Public Relations, Beltway Region
A love of being able to tell a story and the opportunity to use different mediums is what first drew Aimee Metrick to the mass communications world. Since 2011, she has served as Comcast vice president of public relations for the beltway region. “In my role, I get to work strategically with every function of the company which I truly enjoy as I am surrounded by smart, creative and collaborative people,” she said.
Metrick is driven each day by the opportunity to grow and challenge herself each and every day as well as serving as a mentor for emerging employees and getting to play a role in their success.
She serves as a member and mentor for the Maryland/D.C. Chapter of Women in Cable and Telecommunication and on the board of directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Chesapeake. Additionally, she acts as an executive sponsor for BBBS’s “Beyond School Walls,” a workplace mentoring partnership to help at-risk Baltimore County children reach their fullest potential through one-to-one matches with Comcast employees.
“I have had the pleasure of seeing firsthand the positive impact made by these organizations,” she said.
