Chief Creative Officer

Adashmore Creative

In her 30 years, Jennifer Dodson has gone through a lot. She was on a cruise ship that caught fire and got stuck at a crime scene after a murder. On the plus side, she also earned three degrees and started a marketing firm that helps local organizations, such as Towson University and Saint Agnes Hospital, better brand their products.

Dodson earned bachelor degrees in both art and communications at Towson University, where she is now an adjunct faculty member. In 2012, she earned a masters at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA).

In 2010, she started Adashmore Creative, described on its website as “a branding and integrated marketing agency” that “elevates brands with a fresh perspective.” The Lutherville-based company now has seven employees.

Because she believes organizations need to value their employees, she rewards her own employees with unlimited vacation, paid continuing education and full health insurance coverage. “By investing in my employees, our customers receive better service and a more creative product,” she said.

In 2015, the company won a gold Addy Award from the American Advertising Federation for a logo they created for Baltimore-based Tapologie, a company that creates unique blown glass faucets and taps.
