Julia Di Bussolo joined Arts Every Day in 2012 as the organization’s executive director.

She walked into an organization struggling to define its role within Baltimore city. In just three years, she has successfully led the organization to firmer financial footings, stronger administrative infrastructure and recent adoption of a five-year strategic plan. With a goal of expanding access to the arts to all Baltimore City students, she is building a bridge between schools and Baltimore’s thriving arts community.

“I have worked to deepen the organization’s role as an advocate for arts education in Baltimore City Public Schools,” Di Bussolo said.

She also supports the Baltimore Arts Education Coalition, a group of artists, organization leaders, teachers and parents dedicated to working for equitable access to arts education in the city’s school system.
