Myshala E. Middleton

Myshala E. Middleton worked as a program manager in New York City before quitting her job to move to Maryland and enroll in law school.
She graduated in 2010 and now serves as an assistant state’s attorney in the Office of the State’s Attorney for Baltimore City.
In 2014 she received the Alexander Yankelove Award, which is given to a Baltimore City prosecutor in recognition of their exemplary civility and professionalism.
Middleton also is active in the community, serving as a past president of the Alliance of Black Women Attorneys of Maryland Inc. and a board member of the Monumental City Bar Foundation.
She also is active in the Bar Association of Baltimore City and in The Samaritan Community and was a fellow in the Maryland State Bar Association’s Leadership Academy.
