Custody and visitation: Supervised visitation: Likelihood of further abuse
CSA No.0065, Sept. Term 2013. Reported. Opinion by Berger, J. filed Nov. 6, 2013.
Given the significant evidence that the father previously abused another child for several years, the burden was on him to present evidence to show there was no likelihood of further abuse or neglect of his daughter; and, failing that, the circuit court did not err in determining that unsupervised visitation would be detrimental to the daughter’s best interests.
