Divorce: Alimony: Gross disparity of income
CSA No. 1691, Sept. Term 2012. Reported. Opinion by Matricciani, J. Filed Feb. 26, 2014. Appeal from Montgomery County. Affirmed.
Given the wife’s age and health and the length of time since she had practiced law, the court’s finding that her employment prospects were limited was not clearly erroneous; even if, as husband argued, she could earn up to $40,000 a year, compared to his income of $800,000 a year, there would still be an unconscionable disparity in their living standards that supported the award of indefinite alimony.
