Child support: Calculation: Deferred income
CSA No. 1011, Sept. Term, 2013. Reported.
Opinion by Wright, J. Filed Oct. 29, 2014.
Appeal from Howard County. Affirmed.
RecordFax No. 14-1029-02, 17 pages.
Although deferred income that was attributed to a parent in the years earned for purposes of calculating child support should not be counted a second time when it is received, trial court did not abuse its discretion in denying father’s request for modification of child support based on his allegations of double counting, as father failed to show the income was included in the initial calculation.
