Rhonda Elaine Bailey v. Joseph Michael Crehan

A dispute over mathematical calculations brought about this appeal of an alimony award, child support and other financial relief. Appellant, wife, contends that appellee, husband, hid funds from the court and understated his income in order to avoid paying the correct amount in alimony and child support. The Circuit Court for Charles County conducted a five-day trial over a period of sixteen months to hear testimony and evidence regarding the finances of the parties. Neither, the custody nor visitation of the four minor children was in dispute. The circuit court awarded rehabilitative alimony, child support and a distribution of marital property to the wife. Unhappy with the sums awarded, the wife appealed.
