What is the biggest challenge facing your industry today?

The single biggest challenge facing the healthcare industry is workforce shortages and rising costs. Staffing shortages directly reduce access, increase wait times and drive up labor costs.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

Be soft on people and tough on standards by building trusting, supportive relationships while maintaining unwaveringly high performance expectations.

How do you define success?

I wanted to share some insights that have consistently contributed to achieving success, both for myself and my teams. Success truly hinges on three core pillars: people, strategy and operations. What made a real difference for us was the structure and discipline applied to these areas; by thoughtfully organizing and managing each element, we were able to drive our projects forward and accomplish our goals.

As a leader, if you are aiming for success, focusing on these components and establishing clear processes around them will empower your teams and set a strong foundation for growth. The discipline and attention devoted to people, strategy and operations made all the difference for us, and I believe it can do the same for you.
