Meet the Generation J.D. authors

Julius M. Blattner is the owner and founder of JM Blattner LLC in Towson. Julius BlattnerHe understands the complexities of the legal process and works very hard to produce the best possible outcomes for his clients. Blattner is a military attorney and currently serves part time as an Assistant Staff Judge Advocate in the JAG Corps. He serves all his clients with the same hard work and attention to detail that has characterized his years of dedicated military service.

 

 

 

Regine FrancoisE. Regine Francois received her law degree from the University Of Connecticut School of Law in 2006 and a bachelor’s degree from American University in 2001 in International Studies with a minor in Spanish. She was admitted to practice in Maryland in 2006, the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland in 2008, the District of Columbia in 2008, and the U.S. District for the District of Columbia in 2012. Francois began her legal career assisting victims of domestic violence at the House of Ruth Maryland. She then accepted a position as an insurance defense attorney where she litigated motor tort cases at Maryland Automobile Insurance Fund and then as a general civil trial attorney at Robert A. Ades & Associates. She then practiced in the area of medical malpractice and insurance defense at Gleason, Flynn, Emig & Fogleman in Rockville. In 2014, she became the Executive Director of the Maryland Professionalism Center Inc. Francois is active with the American Bar Association as well as the Maryland State Bar Association where she serves on various committees and with the Young Lawyers Section. She is also active in her community serving as a pro-bono attorney, volunteering with various civic and community organizations.

Alicia GipeAlicia J. Gipe is an associate with Gilman & Bedigian LLC in Timonium. She focuses her practice in personal injury matters including automobile accidents, slip and fall accidents, catastrophic injuries, medical malpractice, and premises liability matters. Her civil litigation experience derives from working at an insurance defense firm. Gipe has experience in a variety of practice areas including: products liability; asbestos; premises liability; medical malpractice; wrongful death; nursing home negligence; slip and fall; replevin actions; tortious interference with a business relationship; creditor rights; contracts; governmental immunity; government contractor liability; international law; employment law; U.S. and Maryland Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA and MOSH) regulation; and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulation. Gipe is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Bar Association of Baltimore City, and the Maryland Association for Justice. Gipe is also a court-certified Mediator.

Hindman
Stuart Hindman is a trial attorney with the United States Department of Transportation. He received his law degree with honors from the University of Maryland School of Law and his bachelor’s degree in legal studies from the University of Central Florida. Prior to joining U.S. DOT, Stuart was an assistant attorney general with the Office of the Attorney General in Maryland, representing the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. A northern Virginia native, Stuart currently lives in Baltimore. In his free time, Stuart is a high school football official for public and private schools in the Baltimore metro area, and his goal is to become a collegiate official. When Stuart is not officiating, he enjoys the arts, trying new restaurants and exploring Baltimore with his girlfriend. Additionally, Stuart serves as a Traveler’s Aid volunteer at Dulles Airport. Stuart is an avid sports fan, and enjoys rooting for New York sports teams, particularly the Giants, Yankees, and Rangers.

Scott MacMullanScott MacMullan is the owner and founder of Scott MacMullan Law LLC, a criminal defense and personal injury firm based out of Annapolis. After playing lacrosse in college, he worked for a Fortune 500 company as a brand representative and as their New York City representative. He then worked for an AM 50 firm in their DC office as a legal assistant before pursuing his law degree. While in law school, he interned for U.S. District Court Judge Richard D. Bennett and after law school, he clerked for Anne Arundel County Circuit Court Judge Nancy Davis-Loomis. He is very active in the Maryland State Bar Association as well as the American Bar Association. If he has a “cause” it would be to make sure that young solo attorneys have access to good mentors and are proportionally represented in bar associations. He is famous (or infamous) for being dunked on by NBA All-Star Carmelo Anthony in high school and for playing recreational league basketball with the New York Yankees’ Mark Teixeira. He plans on writing about law practice management, technology and solo practice. MacMullan has presented on the local, state and national level on the topics of technology and social media.

Tucker MeneelyN. Tucker Meneely is an associate at Council, Baradel, Kosmerl & Nolan, P.A., in Annapolis. Meneely’s practice includes general civil and appellate litigation, where he represents businesses and individuals in complex contractual and business disputes, professional negligence litigation, residential and commercial landlord-tenant matters, estate and trust litigation, libel and slander litigation, employment disputes, and real estate litigation. He has been recognized as a Maryland Rising Star by the Super Lawyers publication. Meneely graduated magna cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he was inducted into the Heuisler Honor Society and received the Dean’s Citation for Service. During law school, he served as the editor-in-chief of the University of Baltimore Law Forum. Meneely holds a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University, where he was a member of the men’s lacrosse team. In his free time, Meneely enjoys seeing live music, collecting vinyl records, obsessively following the Orioles, and, most of all, spending time with his wife and son. He also serves the local community as a member of the Annapolis Rotary Club. Meneely and his family currently reside in Arnold.

Divya PotdarDivya Potdar heads the litigation department of Wise Law LLC in Baltimore. A zealous litigator and tenacious advocate for her clients, Potdar is experienced in personal injury law. Before joining Wise Law, she was a trial lawyer representing personal injury clients for the firm Michael L. Sandul, P.A. Potdar is admitted to practice with the Maryland Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. Potdar began her career while still a student at the University of Baltimore School of Law, working with Cohen and Dwin, P.A. During this period she worked on personal injury matters with Miller and Zois, LLC and the Baltimore City Law Department. She also worked as a clerk for Baltimore County Circuit Court Judge Robert N. Dugan. She is an active member of the Maryland Association for Justice and the South Asian Bar Association. Potdar is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, and Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science Honor Society. Potdar volunteers for the Homeless Persons Representation Project and organizes events for the Bar Association of Baltimore City and the Maryland State Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division. Potdar graduated cum laude from Towson University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in political science. A native of India, she is fluent in four languages.

David PraterDavid Prater is an attorney at the Maryland Disability Law Center, Maryland’s designated protection and advocacy agency mandated to advance the civil rights of persons with is disabilities. His practice focuses on fair housing and equal access for persons with disabilities.

 

 

 

 

Michael SiriMichael Siri is a partner in Bowie & Jensen’s litigation department, assisting clients with a variety of legal issues. His practice focuses on commercial litigation, including construction law. He has worked on matters at all stages of litigation in both state and federal courts, as well as, administrative hearings and arbitrations.

 

 

 

 

Zeb SnyderZeb Snyder represents plaintiffs in auto tort cases and insurance disputes at the Law Offices of Peter G. Angelos. PC He clerked for then-Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Stuart R. Berger. He graduated from Towson University in 2001 and the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2009. Snyder is a father of three who still finds time to obsess over the Baltimore Orioles, Washington Capitals, and Formula One racing. He is a member of the Maryland Association for Justice, a Guinness drinker and he worships at the Church of the Nativity in Timonium.

 

 

 

Matt VocciMatthew T. Vocci is an associate in with Ober|Kaler in Baltimore. He works on all aspects of civil litigation and he has gained a wide range of experience in commercial real estate disputes, construction defect cases, the defense of lender liability claims and the representation of individuals in personal injury matters. Vocci is also part of a team of attorneys involved in the defense of complex pharmaceutical pricing suits pending in state and federal courts around the country. Along with his Baltimore law practice, Vocci has made a commitment to serve the community. He served on the Board of Directors of Students Sharing Coalition, Inc., a youth development non-profit organization in Baltimore focusing on service-learning and civic engagement. Vocci also served as a mentor to students at the Steuart Hill Academy in Southwest Baltimore.
