EBDI protestors met with city police in East Baltimore

City police were never far away Thursday morning as angry East Baltimore residents marched toward Johns Hopkins in protest of East Baltimore Development Inc., chanting "We want jobs!" and "If we don't work, nobody works!" EBDI has been redeveloping neighborhoods in the area, and out-of-work residents demand that they be given the jobs with the development.
