Based upon the comments of the region’s economic development directors, the economies of our local jurisdictions are like the young people in Lake Wobegon: they are all performing above average. That was one of the themes heard at the Regional Economic Summit hosted recently by the BWI Business Partnership. The more-than-200 attendees gathered at the BWI Hilton had the opportunity to hear directly from the professionals charged with facilitating job growth and business investment in the metropolitan corridor from Montgomery and Prince George’s counties on the south through Baltimore and on to Harford County on the north.
