Goucher College has named José Antonio Bowen, the current dean of the School of the Arts at Southern Methodist University, as its new president. Bowen will be the Towson liberal arts college’s 11th president, succeeding Sanford J. Ungar, and will begin his tenure on July 1, Goucher’s Board of Trustees announced Wednesday.
