Elected officials, religious leaders call for new gun legislation

Maryland State Senators, along with the Mayor of Baltimore and various religious leaders met to discuss legislative efforts to control the sale and use of firearms in Maryland. Pieces of legislation the Senators promised to bring up in the 2013 General Assembly include bills to ban assault weapons, limit magazine sizes and prohibit carrying a concealed weapon around children.
