City, racing officials tout Grand Prix successes

Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, CEO of Baltimore Racing Development Jay Davidson and other city and racing officials gathered Thursday morning at the Baltimore Visitor Center to release tourism income and attendance figures from the Grand Prix. Davidson said attendance exceeded expectations, and the mayor said that, with people watching on TV all over the world, it was the city's "time to shine."

Mayor, Grand Prix CEO give $100K to city neighborhood

Baltimore City Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, Baltimore Grand Prix CEO Jay Davidson and City Councilman William H. Cole IV gave a $100,000 check to the Sharp-Leadenhall neighborhood Tuesday morning for cleaning and landscaping projects.
