Minn. man pleads guilty to charges in lawmaker shooting case

The man accused of assassinating a former speaker of the Minnesota House and her husband last year in what authorities have described as an act of targeted political violence pleaded guilty Thursday after federal prosecutors said they would not seek the death penalty against him.
