Five of Gov. Larry Hogan's Cabinet appointments will be delayed a week so senators can continue to interview state Transportation Secretary-designate Pete Rahn.
Rahn said he has delayed the submission date for plans related to the Purple Line to August 19.

The Senate Friday unanimously approved more than four dozen appointees including 12 Cabinet-level nominees.
As many as 12 Cabinet appointees could come up for a vote in the Senate later today. It will be the second time for nearly half the group.
The committee voted, without discussion, to recommend that all the names be confirmed by the full Senate.
