MTA begins use of its metro CharmCard

The Maryland Transit Administration held a press conference in the Charles Center Metro station Tuesday morning announcing the official beginning its CharmCard. MTA hopes the CharmCard, which is similar to DC's SmarTrip card, will expedite the system, and encourage people to use public transportation.
