Student housing developers are starting to include luxury apartment style amenities to lure student tenants.
Developers plan a 12-story building on a long-vacant lot at St. Paul and 33rd streets owned by Johns Hopkins University, a site that had been the source of neighborhood controversy over a previous development plan.
Greystone, a New York-based, national provider of multifamily and health care mortgage loans, announced it provided a $29.275 million bridge loan to The Enclave at 8700, a mixed-use student housing project in the 8700 block of U.S. Route 1, near the University of Maryland, College Park.
