St. Mary’s College cancels tuition hike

The Board of Trustees of St. Mary's College of Maryland, a state-funded liberal arts college in St. Mary's County, has agreed to freeze in-state undergraduate tuition for the 2013-14 academic year at the current rate, as a result of $800,000 in new funding that was approved unanimously by the House of Delegates and the Senate during the just-concluded legislative session.
