UB’s new Angelos Law Center gets ready for its close-up

The University of Baltimore School of Law’s new building is 12 stories of neon greens, yellows and oranges, with winding staircases and windows at every turn. The final touches are being added to the new, $112 million John and Frances Angelos Law Center, which will open April 30 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by U.S. Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan.

Maryland’s first table games open at Hollywood Casino Perryville

Hollywood Casino Perryville opened its table games last week, becoming the first casino in the state with table games in operation. The ability of casinos to run dealer-dealt table games like poker and blackjack was one of several key provisions of Question 7, which voters approved in the November elections.
