Gov. Martin O'Malley came to Baltimore Thursday morning to speak at the announcement of the Star-Spangled Sailabration, which is part of the state's War of 1812 bicentennial celebration next year. Pride of Baltimore II ready to embark on 5-month voyage

The Pride of Baltimore II will be setting sail on a five-month voyage to ports along the East Coast, Great Lakes and in Canada. During the voyage, the ship will promote Maryland’s contributions to the War of 1812 and the writing of the Star-Spangled Banner during the 1814 Battle of Baltimore at Fort McHenry.
