Angela Alsobrooks has been the top prosecutor in Prince George’s County since January 2011, the first woman ever elected to the position.

Under Alsobrooks, the state’s attorney’s office hosted the first-ever Sisterhood Summit, bringing together more than 300 young girls and women to discuss issues such as bullying, social media, anger management and making a good first impression.

She also speaks at dozens of schools each year and regularly meets with new lawyers in her office to offer advice.
