From social worker to CEO, Carmel Roques’ career has been in the service of providing care to individuals.

As the head of Keswick since 2011, Roques has led the drive to expand the facility from one that exclusively offered on-campus long-term care services to a community health resource, including a virtual senior home, an initiative to prevent unnecessary hospital readmissions and a variety of outreach programs.

She is the chair of the American Diabetes Association and a member of the Greater Baltimore Committee.
