St. Ambrose Housing 

Through St. Ambrose Housing’s home sharing program, director Karen Heyward-West works to resolve the growing need for affordable housing with creative solutions.

Long involved in community projects, she developed an after-school arts program for middle school girls in partnership with Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority and currently mentors a high school sophomore.
