Howard Community College

Lynn Coleman supervises 138 employees as she oversees all finance areas of Howard Community College, human resources, plant operations, security, capital projects, risk management and auxiliary services. Her exemplary integrity, professional skills and the ability to bring out the best in others have helped shape her as a true leader.

Coleman joined HCC in 1986 as a comptroller, then served the college as a vice president and comptroller and now has been vice president of administration and finance since 1997. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and a master’s of business administration from Clark University in Atlanta.
