Samantha Bowling has been with accounting firm Garbelman Winslow in Upper Marlboro since graduating college in 1993. She obtained her Maryland CPA license in 1998 and became the firm’s first female partner in July 2005.

Bowling is the founder and chairwoman of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountant’s task force for equality, diversity and inclusion.

In addition to speaking at schools about financial literacy, Bowling is on the board of directors of the Nazakat Foundation.
