Baltimore City Community College 

Tonja Ringgold is vice president for academic and student affairs at Baltimore City Community College, which offers a wide range of degree-programs and training to residents of the greater Baltimore area.

She previously was assistant secretary for higher education for the Maryland Higher Education Commission and the Catonsville campus dean for the Community College Baltimore County.

Ringgold has been on the board of Women in Higher Education and volunteers extensively with the Maryland Food Bank.
