At the beginning of the year, Cecilia B. Paizs moved her solo legal practice to the Ellicott City-based SIEGELLAW, providing legal representation in the family law arena.

Since 2000, she has used her negotiation skills and knowledge of the law as a mediator and trainer at The Mediation Center in Ellicott City.

Paizs also is involved in multiple professional and volunteer groups, such as the Maryland State and Howard County Bar Associations and Wings 4 Val Foundation,
