BGE CEO Carim Khouzami oversees all aspects of BGE’s operations and its commitment to advancing the company’s inclusive culture. He is a member of BGE’s Board of Directors and the executive committee of BGE’s parent company, Exelon. His career in the energy sector started with Constellation Energy, which was acquired by Exelon in 2012.
Khouzami serves on the boards of directors for Port Discovery Children’s Museum, Bridges Baltimore, Economic Alliance of Greater Baltimore and Roland Park Baseball League.
Khouzami earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and communications studies from Vanderbilt University and a master’s degree in business administration from Columbia University.
Cailey Locklair is the president of the Maryland Retailers Association, Maryland Chain Drug Store Association, Maryland Food Industry Council and Tri State Jewelers Association and has been involved in Maryland state politics for the past 15 years. Previously, she worked at the Baltimore Jewish Council as its deputy executive director overseeing both operations and government relations and for Speaker Michael Busch at the Maryland House of Delegates. Cailey is a member of the state’s Unemployment Insurance Legislative Oversight Committee, is chair of the national Council of State Retailer Associations and sits on the board of Goodwill of the Chesapeake and on the Executive Directors Council to the Maryland Tourism Development Board.
Jayson T. Williams
Jayson T. Williams is the chief executive officer of Mayson-Dixon Companies. The firm was founded in 2015 as MD Strategic Consulting, supporting businesses, nonprofits and government entities in business and community relations, corporate & nonprofit partnership, strategic planning, and marketing and graphic design. It has since grown to encompass Mayson-Dixon Properties and Development, Modern Builders, and Modern Suppliers, creating a community development and advocacy firm that can build, supply, engage, and manage any type of project. Since its inception, the company, which has locations in Baltimore and Largo, has become one of Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Alumni, has won the “Bridging the Gap” Achievement Award from the Greater Baltimore Committee and was voted one of Baltimore Business Journal’s 2019 Healthiest Employers. Jayson previously worked for Maryland Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller Jr., U.S. Sens. Barbara Mikulski and Ben Cardin, and Prince George’s County Executive Rushern L. Baker, III.
Miles & Stockbridge Principal Robert Wells focuses his legal work on healthcare regulatory and corporate matters, drawing on over 20 years of experience advising on a broad array of complex legal and operational matters, including corporate compliance and complex regulatory issues. His entire career has focused on counseling leaders and executives to help organizations achieve their business goals and objectives while operating within the required legal frameworks, often through challenging and difficult times.
Robert is co-leader of the firm’s Miles Minority Network and Black Business & Start-Up Initiative. He also serves on the firm’s Coronavirus Task Force, a cross-disciplinary team addressing the critical issues facing clients in these unprecedented times.
