Mary Way Bolt has served as president of Cecil College in North East since 2015. Under her leadership, the college launched high-demand programs in accelerated nursing, bioproduction, data science and technology, generating an estimated $18.2 million in tax revenue.

An advocate for community colleges, Bolt frequently testifies before the Maryland legislature and serves on the Maryland Association of Community Colleges legislative committee. Nationally, she serves on the American Association of Community Colleges Commission on Small and Rural Colleges. Her recent honors include Phi Theta Kappa’s Shirley B. Gordon Award of Distinction and the National Council of Marketing and Public Relations District Pacesetter of the Year.
